Brownwood News – Weakley-Watson Hardware will host a ‘Grand Re-Opening‘ as Ace Hardware’s 5,000th store with special events held August 11-13th at 1414 Austin Avenue. The store, which was in danger of closing after 140 years in business, has seen new life after being purchased by Tim and Kerri Jacobs. Their son Weston and his wife Emily have taken the helm and brought a new look, and a new line of hardware to the business, while promising to maintain “the exceptional customer service you’ve depended on for generations.”
