To celebrate the move, the club, community members and some 100 volunteers from around the country, came together just before the True Value Chicago Reunion to make building improvements and participate in a ribbon cutting. The volunteers were retailers, suppliers and employees of True Value Company.

“True Value’s partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago spans 35 years,” said Brent Burger, president of the True Value Foundation and owner of Campbell’s True Value, which operates five stores in Maine. “We remain deeply committed to investing in Chicago’s communities and helping kids develop the character strength they need to succeed in life.”
