TAUNTON — It’s not often that a customer is observant enough to spot a store employee stealing merchandise.
But Taunton police said that’s exactly what happened this past week at The Home Depot at 899 County St.
The unidentified customer, police said, became suspicious at around 5:15 p.m. as he watched 20-year-old Jared A. Loura walk out the rear garden-area exit carrying an Echo brand backpack leaf blower.
