Police are investigating after a shoplifter stole two chain saws from an Alcoa business and escaped using a pair of bolt cutters he “borrowed” from the store.
The theft occurred Feb. 4 at Lowe’s Home Improvement, 1098 Hunters Crossing Drive, Alcoa, but wasn’t discovered until recently when employees learned two of the store’s display model Husqvarna chain saws were missing, according to an Alcoa Police report.
