The metal shelves are nearly empty at Sellers Trustworthy Hardware store on Southwest Ninth Street in Des Moines.
Owner Dave Glodt is hoping the remaining nuts, bolts, cans of paint, cookie jars, pizza cutters, holiday decorations and miscellaneous items in the store will be sold before he closes the door permanently Saturday at the 103-year-old business at 3205 S.W. Ninth St.
