Clifton Park — State Police announced Thursday March 17 that a Schenectady man was arrested for grand larceny in the fourth degree and scheming to defraud in the town of Halfmoon.
Bobby Dhanessur, 36, of Schenectady, allegedly switched bar codes from smaller rugs onto larger rugs in Lowes Home Improvement in Halfmoon. He purchased the larger rugs for the lower price, then returned the rugs for their original full retail value which was transferred to a merchant card.
