The “coming soon” sign is finally coming true for the True Value hardware store at 430 S. Whittaker St. in New Buffalo.
Owner Mitch Willis said on Monday, Sept. 12, that things were going very quickly and he hopes to open the new full line hardware store within two weeks.
The exterior work on the building, previously the home of Customs Imports and across the street from the former New Buffalo Hardware store, has been finished for months, but Willis said there were delays every step along the way, including a one-month hold-up in getting the shelves delivered.
