NEW BUFFALO — Business has been good at the recently opened New Buffalo Hardware and owner Mitch Willis was the happy host for the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce mixer on Jan. 5 at his True Value store at 430 S. Whittaker St.
“Sales have been surprisingly strong considering we opened at the exact worst time of the year. The community has been the best thing about it. They are happy to see us when they walk in the door,” Willis said, as guests browsed through his more than 30 aisles of fully stocked shelves.
