Taylor firefighters were called to the wooded area behind Home Depot Monday afternoon when Councilman Charley Johnson spotted a small fire while driving past the area.
Johnson called the Fire Department, who arrived and put the fire out quickly.
Fire Chief Steve Portis said a homeless man, known for starting small fires, had lit a couple of Home Depot carts on fire.
