All her life, Cami Myers has had a passion for reading.

“Literacy is one of the foundations for success in life,” she said.

So she helped arrange for the installation of what might help Chesapeake residents achieve it: a set of 10 Little Free Libraries.

The libraries are collections of books placed in weather-proof, usually wooden boxes monitored by “stewards” all over the world, stored outdoors and intended to be taken and replaced by the public.
