BETTENDORF, Iowa – With high temperatures come serious dangers for pets that are out and about with their owners. That’s why when K & K Hardware made an effort to help animals avoid being left in the car and forgotten about, the community noticed.
The local hardware store placed a sign in the store’s window that read, “Its hot! Your dog is welcome inside.”
On Saturday, MC Trafford posted a photo of the sign onto his Facebook page. Since then the post has been shared almost 900 times.
