A State Street landmark has sold its last hammer … but look for a gavel there soon.
Woodlawn True Value Hardware, operated by the same family for more than 75 years, has shut down. The building and its contents are being auctioned off through the end of next week.
Owner Robert Winston said it was a sad decision for the family, but a decision that it was time to make.
