A Lake County judge on Friday said the residents who sued Menards and Vernon Hills over a proposed store need to file a new lawsuit if they want to continue the fight, and denied their appeal of an earlier decision.
A group of Vernon Hills residents filed a lawsuit to block a two-story, 225,000-square-foot Menards store and a 61,000-square-foot drive-thru lumberyard at Milwaukee Avenue and Gregg’s Landing arguing that a land covenant was being violated.
