The Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) rates among the retailers doing the least to cut out the use of toxic chemicals, according to a new study completed by a group that aims to protect families from harmful chemicals.
Washington, D.C.-based Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families, released a new report called “Who’s Minding the Store?– A Report Card on Retailer Actions to Eliminate Toxic Chemicals.” It called the report “the first major evaluation of the United States’ largest retailers’ safer chemicals programs.”
