Local hardware stores are gearing up for what has now been classified as Tropical Depression Harvey.
McCoy’s Building Supply managers Mike Trant and Matt Ramos spoke of what weather preparation supplies they have in stock and how the store is being impacted. According to Trant and Ramos, starting yesterday, people began actively preparing for the impending weather.
Both said merchandise flying off the shelves most quickly are flood mitigation and prevention supplies, different than in previous years.
