In the second floor Snowmass Center space where a former town council made decisions that will impact the community for generations, local Matt Pine is opening a business to serve that future growth.
Pine, 34, is betting his home and most of his savings on a hardware store for Snowmass Village, which has operated without a place to buy nails, screws and tools for more than 30 years.
