He may be dubbed “Hank the Hardware Hound,” but the Treeing Walker Coonhound is much more than a fixture at Ace.
Getting hired at Ace meant a two-for-one deal for Hank’s owner Tom Klindt, 62, as Hank would be accompanying him as his service dog.
Management at Ace not only had no problem with Hank’s coming along, but they more than embraced him as a part of the everyday workings of the hardware store. Hank even has his own dog bed at the store.
