A longtime neighborhood business, Gemmen’s Home & Hardware, will continue to be a “helpful place” as part of the Ace Hardware chain.
The store, located at 3488 Kelly St. in Hudsonville, has converted from Do it Best to Ace Hardware, one of more than 4,850 locally owned and independently operated Ace stores across the globe. The store conversion and makeover started in June, and culminated in an open house celebration in late October.
