An early morning fire caused $60,000 in damage to the Ace Hardware store in Prunedale, firefighters say.
No one was hurt in the fire, which was reported about 6:35 a.m. Sunday at 8065 San Miguel Canyon Road, according to a news release from the North County Fire District.
Firefighters have yet to determine the cause, but the flames damaged about $30,000 worth of merchandise and equipment in the store.
