Walking into Arco Hardware is very much like stepping back in time. An antique Coca-Cola machine sits front and center, surrounded by aisle upon aisle of tools. The smell, a mix of gas and sawdust, and atmosphere are familiar to almost everyone, one that draws on many childhood memories.
For the Seymour family, the owners of the shop, being a part of those recollections have been a daily part of their business for 70 years. Trey Seymour bought the business from his father, Howard, in 2013 after feeling called to return home to keep the company alive.
