RICHMOND — When Bob and Patrick Eames rented a storefront in Richmond’s North and East neighborhood in 1974, it wasn’t much more than four walls and a ceiling. Over the years, the brothers turned the vacant building into a thriving hardware store, a place where residents could come to find every imaginable tool for home improvement projects and catch up on some neighborhood news, too.
