MANTECA — Dressed in tan pants, a bulletproof vest, topped with an embroidered cap with the word “sheriff”, a man who looks like an officer of the peace was instead an impostor, according to the Manteca Police Department.
Josh Avalon was there when the fake deputy stole some power tools from a Home Depot in Manteca in October.
