A 28-year-old Albion man who was sleeping on a display mattress at Menards took off and ran across Highway 281 Tuesday after he was approached by Grand Island firefighters and police.
Brandon Reinhart was detained by a civilian and a firefighter, said Sgt. Kevin Sheeks of the Grand Island Police Department. The incident happened shortly before noon.
