A couple’s trip to Tractor Supply Co. in Sennett took an unexpected turn Monday when the two found nearly $10,000 cash in their shopping cart.
The money, stored in a bank envelope along with someone’s checkbook, was left there from the night before, but the couple found it sometime between 8 and 9 a.m. Monday morning. Inside were stacks of $100, $50 and $20 bills totaling around $9,800.
