A man wearing a fedora hat stole $2,000 worth of merchandise from Home Depot, located at 1550 Old Country Road, Riverhead on June 4 at approximately 2:30 p.m., police said. The man fled the store and may have driven away in a tan Nissan Pathfinder, according to the report.
