Door hardware distributor Akron Hardware Consultants Inc. has a new private equity owner and will be combined with another company.
New York City-based High Road Capital Partners completed the purchase on Oct. 6. Terms were not disclosed.
Akron Hardware will be combined with Midwest Wholesale Hardware, High Road said Friday in a news release. High Road in February purchased Kansas City-based Wholesale Hardware, which also is a wholesale distributor of door hardware and related products.
