Ten years ago, David Kratovil took over ownership of Cambridge Ace Hardware.
“It was just like it was meant to be,” Kratovil said, sharing that the store is what brought his family to Cambridge.
After Kratovil got out of the service in the early 1990s, he moved back to South Dakota, where he and his wife built and flipped houses for several years.
