In January, the Fairview Planning Commission approved a site plan for Hart Ace Hardware at 1872 Fairview Boulevard, next to First District Coffee Co. The “Coming Soon” sign went up and then nothing. The 2.54-acre parcel has seen no signs of development.
After a September 18 Fairview Board of Zoning Appeals’ (BOZA) decision not to grant variances on a number of regulations related to the project, Hart Ace Hardware announced they no longer plan to build a new store in Fairview.
