DETROIT (WXYZ) – A Detroit hardware store that has served people for more than 100 years will close its doors.
The Busy Bee Hardware store at Gratiot and Russell by Eastern Market announced it will close in mid-July.
Richard Crabb says when his grandfather bought the Bee Hardware store in 1917, he didn’t want to throw out the nice signs. To make the business his own he simply added the word Busy.
