MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A longtime hardware store in Mount Pleasant is changing hands for the first time in nearly 50 years.
John Royall’s namesake store, Royall Ace Hardware on Ben Sawyer Blvd., will be switching ownership and rebranding as Elder’s Ace Hardware. Elder’s, owned by Tom Glenn, is a chain of 38 hardware stores based out of Chattanooga.
