Police nabbed a pair of Fitchburg residents after they allegedly swiped three toolboxes valued at $1,200 from Home Depot on Boston Post Road East on Sunday afternoon.

A store manager called police about 5:30 p.m. after two people – later identified as Desiree Foskey and Anders Rasmuson Jr. – left the store without paying for the toolboxes, valued at $400 each. The manager told police the two suspects entered a white van, said police spokesman Sgt. Daniel Campbell. The manager provided police with a license plate number.
