LUDHIANA: A major fire was reported at Ashoka Hardware, a hardware shop near Aarti Chowk, on Sunday afternoon. The fire started on the second floor of the shop due to a short circuit. Since the shop’s shutter was locked, the firemen had difficulty beginning to control the fire in the two-story building.
